To be honest at some point after he main plot of Sunstone was finished and they were playing about with side stories and other characters I completely lost track of who is who and what is going on and never managed to get back to it.

I have decided to give it another try with the book.

I have decided that if I am to continue, I must accept the presence of aliens. I had been hoping they would die, but if they are central to the plot, then then my only chance of finishging the book is to accept this.

I have also decided to narrate the book as I read through it.
"Rocky" looks like something that has come out of a Lovecraft novel: spider the size of a labrador, brown-black, with a carapace, capable of supporting extreme heat, highly intelligent, and walking on five hands?
